On Thursday October 17, 2019, at Franklin Plaza, the Rensselaer County Bar Association hosted the Annual Jones Award Dinner to benefit the Courthouse Artwork Restoration Committee.
On Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Rensselaer County Bar Association will be volunteering at the Regional Food Bank.

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, the Annual Meeting of the Rensselaer County Bar Association was held at Franklin Terrace, where they elected new officers and honored 50 year members.
The Rensselaer County Bar Association will host the 2019 Courthouse Artwork Restoration Gala on Thursday October 17, 2019, at Franklin Plaza.
On May 1, 2019, the Bar Association celebrated Law Day.

This year Rensselaer County had seven area high schools competing: Catholic Central High School, Columbia High School, The Doane Stuart School, Emma Willard School, Hudson Valley Homeschool, Lansingburgh and La Salle Institute.
On January 11, 2019, at the New York State Bar Association’s House of Delegates Meeting, the Rensselaer County Bar Association was awarded the 2018 Bar Leaders Innovation Award for small bar associations.
On February 7, 2019, the Bar Association held its Annual Judges Dinner, a long standing tradition where local members of the judiciary are recognized.
