On October 19, 2023, the Bar Association in conjunction with the Courthouse Artwork Restoration Committee held the annual Jones Dinner to raise funds to restore historic portraits and pictures and return them to the walls of the Rensselaer County Courthouse. This year’s honorees were the Hon. Randolph Treece and local historian Kathy Sheehan. It was a wonderful evening which included the unveiling of two newly restored portraits. Those of C.P. Newell a prominent local attorney and Assembly Speaker Charles E. Patterson were displayed to the audience and will be hung at the Rensselaer County Courthouse.
