Courthouse Artwork Restoration Committee 2024 Jones Award Dinner

On October 10, 2024, the Bar Association in conjunction with the Courthouse Artwork Restoration Committee held the annual Jones Dinner to raise funds to restore historic portraits and pictures and return them to the walls of the Rensselaer County Courthouse. This year’s honorees were the Hon. Henry Zwack and Stacy Pomeroy Draper, retired curator of the Hart Cluett Museum. It was a wonderful evening which included the unveiling of the newly restored portrait of the Honorable Lewis Griffith. Judge Griffith was a Rensselaer County Court Judge in the 1890s and was later elected to the Supreme Court. The portrait will be hung at the Rensselaer County Courthouse.
