On May 1, 2023, the Rensselaer County Bar Association celebrated Law Day. It was a day full of events beginning with the Law Day Ceremony at the County Courthouse.
Rensselaer County Court Judge Debra Young gave remarks on the topic “Cornerstone of Democracy: Civics, Civility and Collaboration”.
The Rensselaer County High School Mock Trial teams were honored. The Hudson Valley Homeschool Consortium were the county champions and Columbia High School came in second place.
A free CLE for members was offered on the topic: “Local Court Rules Update 2023” Presented by: David Fronk, Esq. and Keith Muse, Esq.
The day concluded with a reception at the Ruck.
